How do you change the time in a VW car?
Daylight savings time ends on Nov. 5 this year (2017). There was a time when falling back an hour (or springing ahead, for that matter) was quite a production because people had to manually change the time on a million clocks around the house, as well as in their cars. Around this time of year our service department sees an uptick in calls asking, ‘How do you change the time in a VW?’ This year we thought we’d get out in front of it. Read the rest of this entry »
Volkswagen electric Pikes Peak race car
Have you ever wondered why automakers do things that are seemingly out of their lane, like sponsor racing teams or build concept cars that are clearly never going into production? One event that draws international attention is the annual “race to the clouds” held at Pikes Peak in Colorado. It has been more than 30 years since Volkswagen put a vehicle into the race. That streak ends next year with the Volkswagen electric Pikes Peak race car. Read the rest of this entry »
