Performance Specs

Each 2019 VW Arteon that is coming to Spitzer Volkswagen will be powered by a turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine and will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition to providing 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, the 2019 Arteon equips drives with front-wheel-drive as standard with the automakers proprietary four-wheel-drive system available as an option on all three trims. By comparison, the 2018 Lexus IS 300 can be outfitted with a turbocharged, four-cylinder power plant of its own, or a V-6 engine, that will be attached to a six- or eight-speed automatic. Neither of those options make as much horsepower as what comes with the 2019 VW Arteon.
