Does the 2017 VW Touareg have a third row?

September 12th, 2018 by

The 2017 Volkswagen Touareg, known as the ‘people’s premium SUV’, offers everything a driver could want from top-of-the-line features and performance capabilities to an impressive fuel economy. However, unlike most popular SUVs, the 2017 VW Touareg only offers seating for up to five. There is no third row in the VW Touareg, but there is in the all-new VW Atlas.

Drivers who choose the 2017 Volkswagen Touareg will still have a ton of room to work with. With seating for five, the Touareg sports a ton of space in the back for extra cargo. When the seats are up, the Touareg offers more than 32 cubic feet of space for everyone’s belongings. Altogether, there is 103.6 cubic feet of passenger volume.

Does the VW Tiguan have heated seats?

The Touareg is not the only SUV on the VW lineup. Drivers also have the option of the smaller VW Tiguan. Our team here at Spitzer Volkswagen understands that there are some common questions drivers wonder about each of our vehicles, which is why we’re taking the time to answer some such as this.

The driver and front seat passenger will have 41.4 inches to stretch out their legs, and rear seat passengers will have 36.7 inches of legroom. A 60/40-split folding rear seat is standard with fore and aft sliding adjustments, and the front seats are eight-way power-adjustable. Heated front seats are also standard in all 2017 Touareg models.

2017 Volkswagen Touareg: Interior Features

There are three trims available to choose from for the 2017 VW Touareg: Sport with Technology, Wolfsburg and the V6 Executive. The Wolfsburg model replaces last year’s Lux trim. When it comes to safety and comfort, the base model has received a ton of new features. We’re going to highlight them below:

Adaptive Cruise Control
Forward Collision Warning
Autonomous Emergency Braking
Lane Change Assist
Park Distance Control
Heated steering wheel

In addition to these improvements for the base model, there are quite a few changes for the Wolfsburg model as well that makes the Touareg even more desirable. Some style features for the Touareg Wolfsburg trim include brushed aluminum decor, stainless steel door sills and pedals, black headliner, two-tone Vienna leather seating surfaces, gray door inserts and a Wolfsburg badge. Drivers can also choose an all-black interior option for this model.
